DAY 1
Welcome to Zanzibar!
You will be greeted by one of our friendly drivers who will assist with your hotel transfer. Get settled into your accommodation before the group meets for the welcome reception.
DAY 2
We will be kicking off the week with an exciting fun packed day as we head to Prison Island and Blue Safari abroad a catamaran. On our first stop we will be visiting Prison Island, this island is fringed with a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkeling, and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing, it is also home to a family of giant tortoise, imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. Next, we will head to Blue Safari where you will spend the remainder of the afternoon snorkeling, relaxing at a sandbar and swimming in a lagoon. We will end the afternoon enjoying a seafood lunch before we head back to the hotel where you are free to enjoy the rest of the evening exploring the island.
DAY 3
On our 3rd day we have a fun packed day instore. The first half of the day we will take a spice tour. The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without taking a tour of the plantations and seeing and tasting these fresh spices. After the spice tour we will head to Stone Town where we will have a traditional Swahili lunch before going for a walking tour where we will be touring Freddie Mercury’s House, Old Slave Market, Old dispensary, Darajani market, and much more. Experience the vibrating culture and old historic doors throughout the city.
DAY 4
Today is your day of exploration throughout Zanzibar, check out some of the best island beaches like the famous Kendwa beach or the local Paje beach. Enjoy some of the island’s best known beach activities such as Kitesurfing and diving. Do whatever you choose to do, the day is yours for sure.
DAY 5
On this morning we will visit Mnarani Marine Turtle Conservation. Enjoy these beautiful sea creatures that are protected by the small village of Nungwi. You can swim, feed, and take pictures with the sea turtles. After we visit the turtle conservation you will have the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore the island on your own.
DAY 6
We will visit the Muwungoni Village and tour the village school and tour the village grounds. Engage with the locals and learn about the history of the village and how the people of Muwungoni live. After the Muwungoni Village tour we will have lunch at the Rock Restaurant. And lastly, we will end the evening with a sunset boat ride to Kae Funk.
DAY 7
Farewell my travel queens and kings. We have to say our goodbyes as the trip ends. We hope you had a wonderful time in Zanzibar until next time cheers!
